Can you clean silicone render?
Yes. Although silicone render was marketed as “maintenance free”, it is now understood to be prone to algae and mould growth. We use soft washing, not pressure washing, to remove contamination safely without damaging the finish.
How do you clean K-Rend, Monocouche, Parex and Weber renders?
These branded renders are common in the UK and can show organic staining. Pressure washing risks damage, so we only use soft washing. Our process combines a porosity test, thermal imaging and controlled blend ratios to deliver safe, effective results.
Is limestone or other mineral render more difficult to clean?
Yes. Mineral renders are more porous and need a lower percentage solution with longer dwell times. Often three to four repeat treatments are required to achieve an excellent finish. We adapt the method to protect the substrate while cleaning thoroughly.
Can cement render be pressure washed?
No. We only use soft washing on render. Pressure washing is avoided unless a surface has been previously painted and specifically assessed, because it can cause lasting damage.
