Client Requirement
The main building and Pullman carriages had become covered in moss and algae, which over time was affecting the quality of the paintwork. The beautiful building and carriages were almost completely covered in a green hue and did not look as they should do.
Project Solution
Nautilus were able to provide the client with a one-stop solution.
After an initial survey was conducted, it was discovered that guttering had become full and was overflowing, thus creating part of the problem of algae growing on the external walls of the building. Huge trees in the immediate vicinity were also helping moss and algae to grow.
Main Building
By cleaning out the gutters and gently washing the painted woodwork with purified water the building was soon clean and in pristine condition.
Pullman Carriages
The special membranes on the roof were in need of a delicate and safe clean, using special techniques we soon had them looking like new again.
